Important: Only agency training managers/officers can submit the application for certification in the WSCJTC Acadis Portal. If your agency needs assistance assigning training managers to your organization, please contact the WSCJTC Coroner/Medical Examiner Program Manager.
Login into the WSCJTC Acadis Portal: https://wscjtc.acadisonline.com/
Go to Workforce > Personnel List and use the Filters to search for the employee that needs to be renewed.
Click on their name once you apply the filters.
One you are on their profile page, scroll down to Certifications. Click “Renew” button on the far-right hand side.
There are four (4) steps to the renewal process.
- Personal Information
- Confirm information and then click Continue.
- Guidelines
- Read through the guidelines that will outline requirements for renewal.
- Requirements
- Read through the requirements and complete each one.
- Requirements are different for Coroners vs. Medical Examiners.
- Requirements are different for WA State Medicolegal Forensic Investigation Certifications and WA State Medicolegal Forensic Investigation Certification Exemption. However, the steps are the same.
- All requirements require a document upload.
- Click “Update” to upload the documentation.
e. Click “Attach Document” in the bottom right-hand corner.
f. Upload the document that is required.
g. Always complete the fulfillment at the bottom of every requirement.
h. To waive a requirement that does not apply to you, click “Update” in the requirement and use the fulfillment option “Waiver Request” and add a clarifying comment.
i. Once all of the requirement are met, click “Continue” at the bottom right of the page.
j. You can also delete or opt to Finish later at the bottom of the page.
4. Affirmation
- Complete the Applicate Affirmation and click Submit.
- NOTE: This application cannot be edited in the Portal or by the staff once it is submitted.
The application will be audited and reviewed by the program. Once approved, it will be approved and the certification will be renewed.
