What is WADEPS and where can I find more information?

Questions about the Washington State Data Exchange for Public Safety (WADEPS) should be directed to the WADEPS Program at https://wadeps.org/.

I'm having problems with the WADEPS Dashboard.

Contact WADEPS on their FAQ/Help page for assistance.  The WSCJTC does not do help support for the WADEPS site.

How is the WSCJTC involved?

WSCJTC is hosting the Washington State Data Exchange for Public Safety (WADEPS) online training events.  WSCJTC had no involvement in the creation of the WADEPS site or the online learning.

WSCJTC has NO ACCESS to the data or the website for WADEPS.

I want to take the training, but I wasn't assigned it.

Contact the training unit, manager or officer at YOUR AGENCY to be assigned the training.

Can I assign the training to my admins or other non-law enforcement?

Yes, if you have Training Officer/Manager permissions, the online training is available for assignment by THE AGENCY. The WSCJTC Acadis Portal Help Desk will not do any assignments.

I want to email the folks at WADEPS.

You can send them an email at wa.deps@wsu.edu.

Do I have to take this training? Is it mandatory?

You can ask that question of WADEPS at wa.deps@wsu.edu.

I can't get the online training to start?  Or I'm having a problem with it.

First read this article I'm Having Issues With My Online Course first, if your problem is not resolved.

You can send an email to the WSCJTC Acadis Portal Help Desk at lms@wscjtc.freshdesk.com.  Assistance is available during WSCJTC business hours.

Does this count toward the 24-Hour Audit continuing education hours?

Yes.  It can be included for officers who complete the online training.

Is there a due date for this training?

No.  There is no due date for the training.  However, when the agency assigns it they can assign a due date or make their own and communicate it to their personnel.
