Reminder: Only authorized training managers/officers are allowed to enroll WSP Cadets into the WA State Patrol Trooper Basic Academy.  These sessions are only visible to the WSP.  

1) Login into the WSCJTC Acadis Portal

2) Go to Training and Events > Available Training in the left navigation menu.

3) The Available Training page has a filter feature in the upper right-hand corner of the page.  The filters are pop-up.  Enter “Basic” then class number (sample in screenshot), then click “Apply” to see the open sessions.

NOTE: Filters do NOT clear when you navigate away from the page or when you log off.   Check the top left of this page to see what filters are on. They can be cleared by clicking on the X or “Clear Filters” link to the right.

5) As the training manager/officer, you will click the "Register" button on the far right.

6) Choose the student from the drop-down list.  You search by their last name using the type-ahead feature.

7) If the class as Registrant Prerequisites they will be listed in that section, or it will say "none".  The WA State Patrol Trooper Basic does not have any enrollment prerequisites currently.

8) In the Contact Information section, ONLY verify the Registrant Primary Email.  All other fields should be ignored. The WSCJTC does not collect this information regarding students for any session.

 10) Next is Other Information:

  1. Additional Contact Email- Ignore!  This session does NOT send out any automated emails. How to Verify or Confirm Registrations is outlined below.
  2. Verify gender, date of birth and add the training category (it will default to one).
  3. Ignore the rest of this section.  This is not information that the WSCJTC collects about the students in any session.


11) If there is only one (1) registration for this class, click "Submit Request".  If there are more registrations for the same class, click "Submit & Request Another." 

  1. Registrations can be saved and finished later by clicking "Finish Later".  To find a registration that is started, start with Step 6, search for the person and then click “Submit Request”.

12) Cancellations or changes must be emailed to the Certification division at certmail@cjtc.wa.gov

Verifying or Confirming Registrations

The WA State Patrol Trooper Basic sessions do not send out our usual automatic emails.  To confirm your enrollment requests after you’ve submitted the registration go to Training and Events > Enrollment Requests in the left navigation menu. 


This page can be filtered just like the Available Training page so that you only see the enrollments for that session.
