Important: Only agency training managers/officers can submit the application for certification in the WSCJTC Acadis Portal.  If your agency needs assistance assigning training managers to your organization, 

please contact the WSCJTC Coroner/Medical Examiner Program Manager.


Login into the WSCJTC Acadis Portal: https://wscjtc.acadisonline.com/ 

Go to Personnel Tab > See a List of Personnel.

Go to the applicant’s name and click the three buttons at the far right.

Choose “Request Certification”.



In the drop down, select “WA State Medicolegal Forensic Investigation Certification Exemption”. The issue date defaults to today’s date, and you can leave it as the default.


Click “Continue”.  You will land on the “1. Personal Information” page.  There is NO need to make any changes to this page.



Click “Continue”.


The next page is “2. Guidelines” that outlines the guideline/requirements for the application process.  Read through it carefully in the WSCJTC Acadis Portal. 



Click “Continue”. The next page is “3. Requirements” page.  This is where you upload the documents and fulfill all the requirements for the certification.  



The “3. Requirements” page is where you upload documents or answer questions.  It is important you read each requirement, because depending on your position the requirement may NOT apply to you.  Waiver instructions are in the requirement (last line). 


To fulfill a requirement, click “Update” on the far right and follow the instructions. 



Entered the required information or upload the required documents and change the radial buttons at the bottom to “The requirement has been met or exceeded.”



The requirement will now read “Fulfilled”.



When a requirement needs a document upload, please make sure the document is in one (1) PDF format and is named with the person’s name on it.

 

Example:  Smith, John ABP Proof





Do NOT check mark “This document contains one or more Social Security Numbers and should restricted” unless there is a Social Security Number on the document.

 

Click “Attach” and update the radial button at the bottom of the page.


And click “Save”.



And click “Save”.


If a requirement does NOT apply to your position, waive the requirement.  Click “Update”.


Go to the radial buttons at the bottom of the page and use “Request Waiver”.  A red warning will come up and you can use the link in the red box to “provide clarifying comment.”  This step is required for the waiver.



This will make the requirement fulfilled, which will be required for you to move forward.

 

Click “Continue”.  You will move forward to “4. Affirmation”.     


 

Click “Submit”.  


IMPORTANT: Once an application is submitted, neither you nor the WSCJTC can edit the applications.  Errors in the application will result in the application being rejected and resubmissions must start from the beginning again.
